Dele Giwa was a Nigerian journalist who was killed on October 19, 1986, by a parcel bomb delivered to his Lagos home just days after being questioned by state security over stories he was chasing. Nearly forty years later, no one has ever been charged, and the case remains officially unsolved despite a 2024 court order to reopen the investigation.
