His 4th album out of 12, which he will release each month for the next year, Neon Brown's BAGELS is a sixteen-track macro album packed to the brim with vibrant, colorful psych vignettes that will leave you in a daze, full and contempt. Dedicated to J Dilla, hence the title BAGELS, Brown pulled out all of his psych records and pondered what to do with them. Make a mix? Make beats? Do a live set? He decided to make red-edits /cut-ups of his favorite samples and see where it takes him. After creating a few, he realized the music was in the same ilk as Dilla Donuts. Brown decided to make a tribute to J Dilla, Donuts, and his good friend Nate Watters (Sounds Supreme).
