Mokonati Dawn is a Hip Hop/ Island Fusion project. It is a conscious project about Revolution, Freedom and Self Identification of Moorish Americans in Iere (Trinidad) whose ancestors have been in the Americas since the days of Atlantis. Mokonati is a society of Moors that have abandoned Colonial labels and culture to form an identity for themselves. The project is the "Call to action" for that society and anyone wishing to faithfully be a part of it. "The time has come for every nation to worship under their own vine and fig tree.."- Noble Drew Ali
