Written for the Song Skirmish, "Lonely Wolf" about what it's like to be the bottom of the wolf pack. You can say what you want about being the lowest of the low I’ve watched the alpha wolves come and go Another beta gonna take a shot at the top Another fight, another dead wolf last night Here at the bottom I know where I stand through it all Moving up would be like running into wall Sure I won’t mate and sometimes don’t eat Because the alpha is pissed. well I can put up with this I’m the Omega Wolf I get bit up, smacked around, beat up by the pack Attacked because the alpha is grumpy I’ll take it glady cause without me the Pack would go to war Even wolves need someone to vent their frustrations on Sure it’s not glamorous But it’s living We got the good guy I’ll be the villain Besides I have enough to get by And so what someday we’re all gonna die I’m the Omega Wolf
