“We Made It” is a song about overcoming difficult seasons, staying strong when life does not go as planned, and giving God the glory for bringing us through. I wrote this song from a place of gratitude, reflecting on the challenges, setbacks and moments when giving up would have been easier, but faith kept me moving forward. The song blends uplifting African rhythms with gospel, Afrobeat and contemporary influences, creating a celebratory sound that is both encouraging and easy to connect with. The message is simple: no matter what you have faced, if you are still standing, you have a reason to celebrate. I want this song to encourage listeners who are coming through difficult seasons and remind them that their story is not over. “We Made It” is a celebration of faith, resilience, progress and the victories, big or small, that make the journey worthwhile.
