As we arrive on the 1 year anniversary of what we now know as the End Sars protests & the Lekki Massacre. No one has been publicly held accountable till date. As a Nigerian citizen living in the diaspora, I refused to let the distance from home avert my support for the movement. Helping to organize protests in Chicago to further our collective voice, donating, and spreading awareness was the least that needed doing. As an artiste however, nothing felt more necessary than memorializing the movement, and those who lost their lives for it the best way I know how.
