It’s not everyday you hear the words “rap” and “nuclear engineering” in the same sentence. After all, what do ions and isotopes have to do with rhythm and rhyme? But Bronx-based MC and producer Mr Klutch has hustled the corner of art and science, and he’s witnessed firsthand how rough the intersection gets. Forced to drop out of Penn State’s nuclear engineering program due to financial restrictions, Klutch underwent a fission of his own: splitting with college to launch his career in music. “That was the lowest and most pivotal point in my life,” he said. “I wasn’t able to continue school there after my freshman year, so I decided to pursue my passion and hopefully bring more attention to the issue"
