Mr. Fly is a lighthearted, cheeky 1960s-style pop song about an international spy who is apparently much more concerned with getting some rest, catching some sun, and enjoying a good date than with saving the world. From assassination threats and secret missions to tropical retirement plans, Mister Fly takes everything in stride. With its breezy groove, playful rhymes, and understated humor, the song turns a dangerous spy into an oddly lovable character who just wants to get out of the business and enjoy life. In the end, there goes Mister Fly.
