“Melody Monster” tells the story of a lost soul who hitches a ride on a mysterious bus, after he believes he narrowly escaped his demise. A metaphor about the inner man dying to be reborn into something greater. Facing your personal trauma in a one on one setting translated into music. After battling depression, loss of love and friends these past few years, this is Mir Fontane's most personal and vulnerable album to date. Everyone has a Melody Monster, because everyone has pain. Pain feels good with 808s.
