The Long Road came from thinking about where I started, where I’ve been, and all the versions of myself I had to become along the way. I wanted this song to feel like leaving one life and learning how to survive the next. For me, this song isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about continuing. Everybody has their own long road. Some are walking away from the past. Some are walking toward a dream. Some are just trying to make it through the day without giving up. The Long Road is my reminder that every step still counts, even when the journey feels bigger than me. This song is about growth and becoming.
