Safety is a song I wrote about retreating, finding peace within myself, and learning to appreciate the cycles of life. I reflect on finding peace within chaos and realizing the safest place on earth is within my mind and heart. In the line, “Where my saber? …gotta make a killing…ever been a demon slayer?” I try to describe the dogged determination required of me while prioritizing my inner peace. I explore the knowing that true peace within myself means, peace with everything else. I want people to listen to this song and feel a sense of renewed motivation.
