Growing up, I had a dream that many people where I come from would often dismiss as mere "vivid imagination." Music was my only escape. As the great Fela Anikulapo Kuti once said, “music is a weapon,” so I decided to wield it in my battle. I have seen many people tell their stories through different forms of art. I've been inspired by many, but what truly motivates me is the need to tell my own story through my music. We all have something that we connect to, something that makes us feel our best.
