ALPHA & OMEGA by Mary Peter This song flowed out of my spirit during a very downcast moment I experienced many years ago. I had given up on believing God because it felt as though He had lied to me and had not been kind. I decided to turn away from Him but His Word came to me and said: “If any man draws back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him.” My spirit answered: “I am not of them that draw back.” It was through that response in my spirit that I learned all those feelings of turning away from God were only the desires of my flesh. Not long after, the Lord spoke to me again and said: “I am Alpha and Omega, unchanging, unfailing, reliable. I am not a God for a moment, and I am not a God for a season.” That encounter restored both my faith and my joy. Now I am overjoyed to share this sound and message, to encourage anyone who feels that God has failed them. Just because the season has changed does not mean God or His plans for you has changed.
