Growing up in the streets of Mwanza, Tanzania, I had a lot of ideas swirling around in my head, but I didn’t know how to share them with anyone when I was just 14. That’s when I started writing songs and singing. It clicked that I’m a good storyteller, and I got that from my Baba, who used to tell me stories every night before bed. He loved to sing to me, and that’s why I followed him everywhere. He was a great singer, and he inspired me to love singing too. So, when you have a moment, listen to this song and the album.
