I started working on Jireh September last year. I was in a state of so much gratefulness for God’s grace and provision in my life after so much hopelessness. Not to let the emotions take over me, I placed it on a punchy and jumpy Amapiano beat. Around September last year, Jireh had a lot of people’s attention when I shared a snippet on tiktok so I decided complete the song. We’ll do a challenge for it. This is a summer anthem. I hope to see it on every Christian/gospel and Afrobeats playlist.
