In one sentence, “Hold On” is a piece I wrote to remind myself to not give up on myself and also encourage young people who are at a crossroad. It reminds me of how things were once hard at home. How I had to sell empty crates of drink a few times so we could have money for food at home. I chose to make it an upbeat song to help distract myself from the emotions it triggered. I hope to see “Hold On” on every Gospel/Christian, inspirational and Afrobeats playlist. I will primarily use social media (reels, live) and ads to promote it.
