I recorded Ms. 305 after a Miami trip where I got too while for the liking of my girlfriend at the time. I had a lot I wanted to say to her but knew it would come off toxic, so I locked in for 30 minutes, making the beat & song to get everything off my chest. I wanted to emphasize that I was aware of how unfair and uncertain I was being. While I couldn’t make any guarantees that there would be a long, happy relationship, I could promise that the time we spent in the present would be worthwhile.
