May 20, 1962, Malcolm X gave a speech on police brutality. Almost to the date on May 25, 2020, George Floyd, a 46-year-old Black American man, was killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during an arrest for allegedly using a counterfeit bill. Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, knelt on Floyd's neck with no remorse for almost 9 minutes while Floyd was handcuffed and lying face down, begging for his life and repeatedly saying "I can't breathe". 58 years later from that famous speech by one of the most revered black activist in our nations history, police brutality unfortunately still exist & thrives in our country.
