Originally released on the label Orange Machine on March 1, 2024, “Alive” caught my attention with its emotive energy. After releasing my Afro-dance track “Worami,” I decided to try something new by exploring the liquid Drum and Bass genre with this remix, aiming to bring a fresh take on one of Ocin J’s tracks. The remix is entirely self-produced, featuring a Reese bassline, a distorted lead, and classic Drum and Bass drums, with a tone leaning toward hope. This remix came together through the Music We Trust artist collective—a platform I co-founded—where I discovered Ocin J’s music and was inspired by the original track. This is my first remix, marking a special step in my journey, which began in mid-2024. It reflects my desire to keep exploring new genres as a music producer.
