“Superpower” is an upbeat Afrobeat release exploring identity, confidence, and joy. Rooted in the Black experience and arriving during Black History Month, the track celebrates pride and self-belief while resonating across cultures. Recorded in London, it began as a passion project between Momento and Kristoffer Storjohann, inspired by their love of Afro music. Recognizing that the song needed voices rooted in the culture to fully come alive, they collaborated with Greek-Nigerian sibling duo Love & Life Itoya. The duo completed the record with their lyrics and vocal lines, grounding it in lived experience and authenticity. Driven by infectious rhythms and vibrant violin melodies, Superpower is an Afrobeat global anthem.
