Tshepo Yaka is a Sotho phrase meaning "My Trust" or "My Hope/My Faith". The first line of the song is a very bold statement "Tshepo Yaka e Ho Jeso", which means "My faith is in Jesus". The song was inspired by a dream Lord had which eventually ended up becoming a composition. The song is in a hymn/refrain style, and the message is quite clear and simple.
