Davido — “UNAVAILABLE” ft. Musa Keys

A cross-continent collab between the Nigerian global star and versatile amapiano riser Musa Keys, “UNAVAILABLE” was the biggest moment from Africa’s biggest event album of the year.

Ella Mai — ”This Is”

Ella Mai is no stranger to producing anthems that perfectly soundtrack summer romance. “This Is” seamlessly joins the ranks of modern-day R&B classics in the London singer's discography.

Eslabon Armado & Peso Pluma — ”Ella Baila Sola”

The first regional Mexican song to hit the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10, “Ella Baila Sola” pairs Eslabon Armado with Mexico’s hottest export—Peso Pluma—to empower anyone dancing alone.

Ice Spice & Nicki Minaj — “Princess Diana”

At this point, it’s obvious that everything Ice Spice touches turns to gold.

Jay Wheeler, Dei V & Hades66 — “Pacto” ft. Luar La L

Reggaton’s premiere romantic balladeer has been expanding his sound over the past couple years, and for his latest hit, enlists a few of Puerto Rico’s hottest rappers for a trap banger.

Johnny Drille — ”Believe Me”

The way Johnny Drille sings it’s impossible not to believe him.

JZyNo — ”Butta My Bread”

Few African songs this year impacted every corner of the continent like “Butta My Bread,” the bright love song from New Liberia trailblazer JZyNo.

Latto — ”Put It On Da Floor Again” ft. Cardi B

It is the year of adding a big feature to a big song and making it even bigger. Few remixes went bigger than Latto’s Cardi B-assisted viral smash.

Leon Thomas — ”Crash & Burn”

Trying to find deep, genuine love in a shallow generation obsessed with clout, material goods, and sex? Leon Thomas would rather crash & burn off the 405.

Lil Durk — ”All My Life” ft. J. Cole

Durk gets real. Cole kills another feature. The choir sings. Everybody wins.

olivetheboy — “Goodsin”

One of the best (and biggest) surprises of the year was the success of “GoodSin,” the breakthrough from Ghanaian newcomer olivetheboy that makes sinning sound heavenly.

Sexyy Red, Nicki Minaj & Tay Keith — ”Pound Town 2”

“My coochie pink, my bootyhole brooooooown!”

Skrillex, Fred again.. & Flowdan — ”Rumble”

It’s impossible to talk about electronic music in 2023 without mentioning Skrillex’s twin-album return, made all the more fierce by this sinister single with Fred again.. and Flowdan.

Spyro — Who Is Your Guy? (Remix)” ft. Tiwa Savage

Nigerian singer Spyro hit it big with “Who Is Your Guy?”—finally an anthem for all those with loyal homies, made even better by the addition of Tiwa Savage.

Teejay & DJ Mac — ”Drift”

The Uptop Boss goes fast and furious with a song-dance combo to cause mayhem all summer.

ThxSoMuch — ”SPIT IN MY FACE!”

Toronto singer ThxSoMuch injects punk and rap with desperation for a perfect cocktail for today’s emo-starved masses.

Uncle Waffles, Tony Duardo & Justin99 — ”Yahyuppiyah” ft. Pcee, EeQue & Chley

Fresh off being named Audiomack’s #UpNow artist, amapiano sensation Uncle Waffles dropped off her second project, led by the standout firestarter “Yahyuppiyah.”
