I wrote Great God back in 2019 in my bedroom. I wrote it at a time where I felt like everything was going downwards. Writing this song was therapeutic. It felt like the holy spirit was sitting by me, whispering the words into my ears. I had Aduhemaa in mind when I was writing the song. I knew her vocals would compliment the song well. I also spoke to my friend and songwriter Nii Sowah who helped with the second verse. It's my prayer that this song will bring people tothe realization that God is greater than our problems and the world's problems. Great God is a blessing and I know it will bless you immensely.
