"Greetings from abroad" is a 7-chapter story, based on true events pertinent to the most sought-after Ghanaian dream: "to be successful by any means possible". On this cinematic African hip-hop/hiplife EP, KooKusi, who is notorious for presenting two sides of an argument, adopts the persona of the average Ghanaian youth battling family pressure to find his feet, and the need to pursue greener pastures. His stance will soon take a quick turn when his departure from Ghana only merely aggravates his fears. Themes you will find on this project include the pursuit for greener pastures (Japa), political rot, gun violence, racism and mass murder, insecurities, fear of failure, suicide, hope, and as is expected, faith. If you find yourself in these tables, know that you're not alone.
