Northbound is a driving indie-rock anthem from UK band Kingsway, blending jangly guitars, energetic drums and an uplifting, festival-sized chorus. Inspired by the desire to escape the pressures of everyday life, the song follows a journey away from the city and towards open countryside, freedom and fresh perspectives. Built around bright electric guitars, a melodic bassline and a powerful British vocal performance, Northbound captures the feeling of leaving work behind, switching off the phone and heading towards somewhere better. Influenced by artists such as Coldplay, Keane, The Script and Sam Fender, the track combines modern indie-pop production with classic British guitar-band energy. Released via MSL Records, Northbound continues Kingsway’s uplifting and cinematic Northern sound.
