Richard Kings’ first album, Melody Agora, emerged in 2003 as a groundbreaking project. It introduced audiences to his signature fusion of traditional Cameroonian rhythms with modern arrangements. The album explored identity, spirituality, and belonging, blending folk guitar patterns with global influences. In a time when African music was increasingly globalized, Kings sought to preserve Lamnso identity while also opening his sound to international audiences.
