International Afrobeats music icon King Kanja taps back into his dancehall roots with “Wicked Gyal,” featuring Washington, D.C.-based Jamaican artist Shawn Ice, arriving Friday, October 2, 2026. The high-energy dancehall anthem tells the story of a man dealing with a deceptive, manipulative woman whose lies and unfaithful ways leave him questioning her intentions. Blending infectious rhythms, catchy melodies, and relatable storytelling, the track marks King Kanja’s return to dancehall following his 2019 hit “Only You” featuring Craigy-T of T.O.K. The release arrives one day before King Kanja performs at Naija Fest ’26 in Los Angeles alongside Mr. P of P-Square.
