Real Matters is one song that is really personal to me (Kay-z). It’s partly fiction and partly true story. It talks about the struggles an average up and coming artiste in Nigeria has to go through to get heard. As a talented young rapper with so much potentials that everyone is aware of, the bar is set so high for you and the expectations as well. But the audience have very little knowledge of what you have to go through to get to that level, hence the reason for putting this out.
