back in late 2017/early 2018, @googi3, @weswax & i were meeting up in astoria a bunch to work on what would become Dream States. it’s rare that i work with other rappers in person, but oh mylanta how stellar an energy Googie & i had in the studio. we had appreciated each other’s music from afar, but these trips into the city solidified that mutual respect and turned interweb aquaintences to real life homies. • • • step one: WAX would play us a bunch of beats to choose from. we wanted em all, but whittled down a list of our favorites • • • step two: Googie and i would pick one beat to focus on, figure out what we wanted the song to be & from there start brainstorming and writing down ideas/lines. it was pretty incredible to see how our minds would go in the same direction. it just flowed. with WAX providing all of the production and giving feedback every step of the way,
