Ethereal UK who is also known as transgender musical artist and producer Waritsara ‘Yui’ Karlberg originally wrote the song ‘Giving Up (On That Dream)’ when she was struggling with her music career during the pandemic. Just before meeting and collaborating with Qweku Winky, Nicholas and Livet....her goal was to collaborate with a Nigerian friend on a track to raise mental health awareness but due to financial problems, the project got cancelled. However, she found her mojo with her music again from this and was also fortunate to meet Nicholas from Zambia, Qweku Winky from Ghana and Livet who also happened to be from Nigeria and collaborate with them on this song via a Facebook group called Real Talk Radio.
