Singer and songwriter J Slught after the successful release of his debut EP last year is about to start the year with a soulful Afro-Liberian influenced song tagged “SUFFER” SUFFER’, is the prelude to his sophomore EP tagged KING OF THE JUNGLE, scheduled for an early 2021 release. In the lyrics, J Slught admits to the depths that he would go for his love – ”inna care if u poor man daughter, baby my lover o, I’m gonna treat you better” which translated from Liberian English means: “I don’t care if you are a poor man’s daughter, baby be my lover and I’m gonna treat you better.” ‘SUFFER’ is an afro-Liberian-fusion ballad that sounds like love.
