J Slught is coasting off the high he got from SUFFER, released a couple of weeks ago in grand style today proving in part, his narrative reservoir is limitless as he veers off course, telling of his desire for a girl which he’s really in love with named “MARIA”. Exercising his choice of contemporary metaphors and also diversifying in Spanish in a bid to mask his raw intent and prove his creativity, he tunefully pulls us into the utopia he dreams up wielding bawdy words and sprightly percussions as his tools of choice. Maria in a short sentence is Sweet Music that has the potential of cutting across borders.
