This song started out as a simple chord progression in my bedroom. After showing it to Shishi and David Meli, it quickly came to be a song about the uncertainty that comes with commitments. David Meli and BAER sing about a relationship gone sour, but tinged with regret and sorrow with how hard it is to stay committed. Commitments is a song that I've been finding as a reminder of how hard it can be to commit to things in life - relationships, art, passions, jobs... and it's a message that's been helping me better commit to them.
