People often say the real you is who you are when nobody is looking. And they have a point. But what if you could be that version of yourself every time, no matter the eyes on you. We live in a world where everybody is living for another person. Everything we do or every version of ourselves has to be curated before anybody can see it. Some of us don’t even want to be seen as humans anymore, just as a brand. And I’m really not any different But I want to be. I want to be the real me always no matter the reward or consequence. And the real me is a walking paradox. The real me is creative and intelligent sometimes but most times he’s just goofy and weird, the real me is cold and stern sometimes but sometimes he’s caring and loving, maybe even gullible, the real me is dark and pessimistic but sometimes he’s filled with hope for the future. Sometimes the real me does unbelievable things but most times he’s just mid and average. And there is nothing wrong with that. Why can’t we just be mid? Who are we comparing ourselves to and does that person’s metric actually matter.In a world that only sees what’s polished, that version of me is already a GHOfST.
