Born October of 1991, Jon Muhammad is an independent hip-hop artist hailing from North Carolina, now residing in southern California. Being raised by his grandparents, he developed an ear for sound at an early age. Influenced by a wide range of musicians and artists such as Frank Sinatra, B.B Kings, and Bill Withers. To others like Tupac, Outkast and Lauryn Hill.
With all of these different influences as a foundation Jon hopes to create a sound that transcends time and genre. His debut project titled The Lost Art of Dreaming (EP) released Feb. 2014 received mixed reviews but was undoubtedly a solid sample the young artists’ potential. Now finishing up his second project Life Without Jon, you get the feeling that this is the one that’s going to be the one to start opening eyes.
