The year was heavy, the skies turned gray,
A shadow fell, the light slipped away.
But a heart of courage burned through the night,
And the lamps of faith cast a guiding light.
Through the trials, the winds did moan,
Yet hope took root, and love was sown.
The stars above seemed to hum a tune,
A promise whispered beneath the moon.
God took care of it, He made it right,
Turned the darkest hour into morning light.
When the world said no, His love said yes,
God took care of it, and we’re blessed.
One December evening, the air was still,
The lights on the hill sparkled with will.
Two strangers appeared, dressed in white,
Their words like jazz, smooth and bright.
“Keep the faith, let the music play,
God’s hand is on you, come what may.”
