Back Story is the upcoming eighth studio album by American independent rapper and record producer John Anthony. It is released through Villainous Records and schedule for release on July 4, 2025. The album features guest appearances from independent rappers Greg Dos, Jason Rose, TheRealAB, LyrchGG and fellow Villainous Records member J Mont. Production was primarily handled by various producers, including CEDES, StreetPlayerhx, maxmizacion, davidtamas, Cosain, CEO, TubeRipper, parth and nico beats, along with executive production by John Anthony and Alex Murray. It's the third consecutive John Anthony album to feature the word "Story" in its title.
