When I take a look at the year 2023 that is still ongoing, the marvelous thing I observe is that despite it been a tumultuous year filled with socio-economic and political challenges, in the midst of all the raging storms of our daily life, we are preserved by God, and He constantly shows up, assuring us and showing us that we can *Rest* in Him despite the storms we see. I can testify that it has been a year of God granting satisfaction and Rest. This song comes from that place of assurance that truly when we trust Jesus, He will give us Rest on Every Side.
