Jelie is a Denver-based rapper and producer who could open for Joey Bada$$. She is very much inspired by life experiences and relationships gone wrong - you can often hear the aggression and tension in her voice, fused with Neo-Soul chords and hard hitting drums. "Just Like You", her single release for the month of June, speaks about how much you can look up to someone in admiration or mutual respect, only to be disappointed as time withers away. Simply put, this song is Hip-Hop to the fullest.
