"Takes Time" is a song that's intended to motivate people at its core. It also encourages people not to be too hard on themselves if they're not where they want to be in life. If you work hard, you may not see immediate results, but if you keep at it for long enough, it will pay off. Patience, persistence, perseverance are all extremely important in achieving any goals that you set for yourself. Most importantly, you must have faith in yourself. Don't ever be afraid to take chances and bet on yourself. You'll miss all the shots you don't take. God bless! Mixtape coming sooner than you think too.
