The idea or inspiration for Good Boy came after a conversation with olootù and his friends. They were all talking about the benefits of sticking to one partner and moving away from situations that could jeopardise their relationship. Olootù started singing the hook for his friends as an anthem and later got back home to write out bars with his key elements which are humor, drama, wit, relatability and local slangs from the people of Niger Delta region which he is strongly a part of. Then he called his producers and instrumentalists and then a Beautiful vibe was created.
