Fade Away was definitely an emotional piece for me to write. I had fallen in love with someone, and got my heart totally crushed lol. It's about not wanting to forget the memories of that person, because you loved them so much, but knowing that you have to. As time goes by, no matter how much you try to hold onto those memories, they become distorted, and eventually forgotten.
