Growing up with a father favouring towards jazz, Footsteps played clarinet and saxophone throughout his school years and later taught himself to play piano. Developing an intricate taste for rhythms and beats; reggae, afrobeat, soul and dancehall all squeeze into his shaken cocktail of taste.
He started his career working with Jammer’s collective and had his first release on 679.
He was part of Wiley ‘s Eski Records and also very active in funky house scene where he had success working with label signed new artists and doing remixes for major labels like Universal.
His sound naturally evolved while his experience and skills as a producer, writer and engineer, bring a depth to the new artists he works with to help them also find their sound.
