Hulgize Andegna is the first official mixtape from iMajik AKA Asmategnaw Miki. The 10 track- 5 bonus track tape is mostly in Amharic (the working language of Ethiopia) with some English mixed when necessary. The tape focuses on flow and delivery while bringing a bit of flavor to hip hop. Non Amharic speakers have mentioned being able to identify familiar sounds and have been giving very positive reviews. After all, music is internationally!! For my Habesha people, I hope you can recognize the poetry and the unique flow in every track. I was aiming at keeping the integrity of our beautiful culture, but putting a little twist on it and bringing it to our time. My non Amharic Listeners, just enjoy something weirder than your usual.
