Written for the greatest songwriter I've ever heard or known... My father. Inspired by the epic poem 'If' by Rudyard Kipling that is a favorite of my father's and was often cited as inspiration to my sister and I growing up for overcoming adversity. Composed using a Dgdgbd open guitar tuning.
