EP Bio: Self Medicate — The Situation “Self Medicate” is a raw, introspective EP by South African artist The Situation, delving into the mental, emotional, and spiritual battles faced in silence. Across gritty verses and hypnotic beats, the project captures the complex dance between healing and harm, resilience and relapse. Each track is a page torn from a journal—unfiltered, moody, and brutally honest. With this EP, The Situation refuses to sugarcoat the reality of coping mechanisms, whether born from trauma, pressure, or inner conflict. From late-night confessions to anthems of defiance, Self Medicate is both a mirror and a release—crafted for those who feel too much, too often, and too deeply. This is more than music—it’s therapy in 808s.
