Drowning means a lot to me, i've put so much emotion and effort to make it as perfect as possible and i'm pretty happy to be finally able to share it with you all. *long story short* I wrote this song while I was in the middle of my summer residency in 2018. It was after a long break from production and I was feeling homesick;I wanted to create something that would remind me of home. The title “Drowning” refers to all the anxiety and stress I was experiencing at the time, even though I was living on an island doing what I love, which many would say is the best way of living. I love how Like Lions captured a similar feeling with his lyrical work; referring to a broken relationship and how he was feeling like he was “drowning.
