Hembadoon

Having started her music career in the church at 22, Hembadoon has grown through different stages of experience in corporate PR working on Radio in Nigeria, writing columns for different publications and online sites including Netherlands SRHR platform in Nigeria "Love Matters Naija" where people are taught to embrace their sexual and be open to issues of reproductive health concerns. As lead singer of an all girl band, she led to the team through a Benson&Hedges road show competition two years in a row, placing 3rd in the second outing and winning cash prizes and other consolation gifts. She has sung backup for South African singer Somti on the Nigerian leg of her tour, and worked behind the scenes for some of Nigeria's biggest A List celebrities. The journey has led her here, where she is now working on her first album project, having being a student of the industry for over a decade.
