We start off the new year with a double feature! This song has been a challenge for me as it's been in the works for about 3 years, but about 2 weeks things clicked. Inspired by the story of Icarus, a child of captivity that dreamed of freedom and flew too close to the sun, I wrote this with the idea of seeing his ambitions through without failure. What if the one were to achieve the freedom they desperately desired.
