The song "I Overcame" was born out of true life experience with the children of the world. It echoes the reality of the Lordship of Jesus Christ over this world and all its systems. God's children and members of the kingdom of His dear Son Jesus Christ are forever victorious because, in Him (Jesus Christ) we live, move and have our being. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of Power, Love, and a Sound Mind. We cannot be distracted or deceived by carnal/evil desires and imaginations. Our focus is on Jesus - the author and finisher of our faith. We know who we are in Christ and the authority we have in the Name of Jesus. We pray that the light of God's infallible Truth shines in the hearts of men and women around the world, bringing them to the knowledge of the Truth.
